it depends on how much you were smoking before the monday you last smoked,

if you a heavey smoker about smoking 4-5 times a day based on your weight i would guess about a month and a half

if your smoking once a day or every other day i would say about 4 weeks or so give or take,

it accumutales in your fat tissue so drinking alot of water will just delute your urine and whoever is testing will most likely test you again, if you dont have enough time to get clean i would suggest going to your local headshop and getting a fake urine test about 60$. or some have detox sytems you can take the morning of the test so it adds the essentail vitamins found in urin without deluding it about 30$ give or take.

With your height and weight I would say that you would want to keep a constant intake of water and keep the working out at 4 times a week and you should naturally be clean in about 15 days if you keep the smoking down to about once every couple of weeks. hello.

Ok everyone, you all need to stop freaking out.. it isn’t really this serious.

If you smoke weed ocassionaly then it will be out in a max 10 days. im talking about once a week.

When you smoke it cycles through you just like any person but the differance is how fat you are. with a skinny person it will cycle then leave through urine and sweat faster because with a fat person it will still leave but it will stay in your body because of your fat. (im talking on an average - 5′8 280 pounds + is when you should be worried.)

If you are like me, 5′9 145 pounds dont even be worried at all! i can get it out of my system in 6 days.

These websites want you to be scared and nervous, don’t worry and half the people say what they hear from friends friend.

it’s nothing but a thing you should not be stressed about, unless your test is an unreasonable amount of time from your last smoking session.

hello mate i know you havent been on for a while but when you get this will you reply….i am 195 pounds which is 14 stone and 5ft 8 i smoke 20 bag of weed everyday..i went for a drug test and drink test in febuary and passed when i had been on it then..i think this has just been complete fluke as now my time is ready to have my proper full medical urine and blood..at the dvla…i never been charged or locked up for anything to do with drugs …just drink ..do you think they will be testing me for drugs also..and i only smoke it in pipes nothing to do with joints …thanks

ok….i was a chronic smoker for about two years - went to jail on drug charges - out on bond…been to court 4 times throughout the process - i have passed three drug tests(one each month) since then, however, i was waiting on my trip to the grand jury - i hadnt heard from them in about two months…so yesterday i probably smoked an equivalent to half a blunt of some chronic - of course i get the phone call from my lawyer today saying court is Wednesday…i have been slamming water down since i heard the news — not really sure if a drug test will be performed or not,(since i have been taking them regularly they may make me take one to reduce my PO time)…i am thinking i will not have to take one until the first time i meet with the PO - what is the best thing i can do during the next two days until court? - 6′1″ about 250…football player/coach basketball/ in good shape, however, im working ten hour days at work the last month and have not been able to get a solid schedule at the gym - i plan on drinkin tons of water and running daily until court - it is at 10:00 am on wednesday and i really dont need to spend the money on the detox - used them before but usually with more time between the smoke and drug test

I smoked a 1 gram blunt last thursday between 3 people about an hour later i threw up. I have never done this before but anyways, I am 5′5 135 lbs. and I have a pretty good metabolic rate. Just to let people know of my situation. I was put on probation feb.20th. I stopped smoking that day after being a fairly heavy smoker for many years. I had my first urine test from the substance abuse program on april 6. I failed. had another test on the 21st. It went up. Today I had one from the probation officer, He said it was borderline, and he wasn’t sure. I have not smoked, seen, or smelled weed at all during that time. i suggest you go to a drug store and do the test youreself,its easy and pretty accurate.if you read my writing above ive been positive for 54 days i smoked like you,but everyone is different. and im going to do another test in the 75 day period and i will let all know the results then somewhere after mem.day.

Hey, I have cut down to smoking just once a week about 3 months ago and had my last smoke 33 days before a recent urine test for a new job. I’m not very active but I’m farily slim and I’m 5foot 10. NIDA standards require that the levels of an individual should be below 50nanograms/ml of urine. Half life of THC usually is 1-11 days. This depends on metabolic rate size, weight, height, frequency of drug intake and your age. If half life is 7 days for you, if you had taken 200ng, then the level would have gone down to 100ng which is above the threshold of 50ng/ml. so this case, you may not pass the test

ok people,the much awaited arrival of my test after 76 days has arrived!! i took it this morning and its a good/bad news situation, first the good news,the strip color that indicates the presence of thc is a very,very faint which indicates that there is a slight negetive result showing,but its so faint that it makes you wonder,i can barely see it,but before there wasnt any line at all,so theres progress i think.but the bad news is that the strip isnt a bright red that indicates that the drug is altogether gone.so my conclusion is that the drug has begun to dissapear but there is still very small amounts still lingering in me,i wanted a clear red indication strip but just got a glimmer of hope.its good news but im still bummed out that i didnt get a real clear negative.so, unfortunetly ill have to take another test at the 90 day period to get what im looking for and i hope to god i get it then.so ill give another update on or about the 12-14th of june which will be about 95 days,wow! so until then……..

4-5 days would be the time in which the THC passes out of your system. But, if you are very frequent drug taker, this may not be. Best thing is to wait for 2 months and then take up any test. Hey, I am 510 and about 140. I used to smoke all the time up until mid april and i stopped. then i smoked one more time on 420. now i have a really fast metabolism and am really skinny and have passed tests before in quick times.

however, before i did not smoke as frequently as i did this past couple of months. so its been about 5 weeks. i just took it today. does it seem that I will pass?

Within 72 hours of getting the positive result, you have to ask for retest in general. You can raise this to the MRO of the drug test. Retest is your right to challenge the results of the positive test. You might also be asked to pay for the retest.

If you have been taking marijuana, then drinking water does not at all help since THC is fat soluble and not water soluble. However, if its over, don’t worry. 14 days might be enough and the drugs might have gone out before you took the test

hello again everyone!for those who are eagerly awaiting my results after 93 long days of not smoking…..well i took the test this morning when i woke up. now,the test i take has a 4 indicator panel. and the results on cocaine-bright red strip color,indicating a clear negative,on meth-bright red color,on opiates-bright red and on thc……very faint red!!jeeze! just like the results at the 76 day test i wrote about,so what dose this mean? well the test i use is called first check and can be bought at about any drug store and they have a website at firstfamilycheck.com,so i did a little snooping around and it says as follows…”even if the line is very faint,as long as there is some red or pink color to it,it is considered a negative result”.so i guess you can say im clean.and maybe i was at the 76 day test in which i wrote about on this site in may.now the only thing that bothers me or you can say at this point “tics me off” is that the line is very faint when the other three is bright red,so im still left wondering if i can ever get a bright red result? and why is the thc strip so very faint as opposed to the others?it just makes me feel that there is still some tiny little thc modules floating around in my blood,lol. so in my stubbornness i am going to take another test around the end of this month just to see if there are any changes.so my friends i will again do a report on this site at the,or around the end of this month to see if i can get what i want.so until then,the best to you all!!

i am 6′3 205 pounds i do 100 crunches a day along with push ups i have smoked 2 and 1/2 weeks ago it was not much at all i have a normal metabolism. and a high tolerance for it and took a drug test today .. im worried beyond belife

I’m 5′10″ and weigh about 153lb. I’ve been smoking weed pretty much everyday for the last 13 years and to be fair it’s now ruining my life. I completely stopped smoking it 12 days ago. I would normally smoke around an 1/8th a week and mix it with tobacco. My metabolism is pretty good and I’m getting lots of exercise now (mostly cycling). I’ve already failed a urine test and will most likely lose my job, so I just want to get this crap out of my system now so I can move on in life. Realistically, how long would I be looking at before I would pass a urine test?

THC is not water soluble. Try to get the locally available detox product and resort to it. Additionally, stick to veggie diet. Stay out of drugs till you get the job. Drink lots of water. Urinate frequently. Keep doing regular strenuous excercises for that would burn fat that has the THC in it.

Ok, I have a hair test coming up on the 27th (8/27/09). The last time I smoked weed was on july 1st (55 days ago), and the last time before that was on 4/20/09 (about 120 days ago).

The place thats testing me says they check for drug usage up to 90 days. So my question is do you think i would fail the hair test if i smoked about 55 days ago when the last time before that was about 120 days ago?

Also, my hair is pretty short, about 2 inches long. And im pretty sure I cut my hair after the 4/20/09 usage. Im about 5 foot 9 inches and 150 lbs if that matters. Thanks

It is highly recommended that you wait for at least a month before you take up any drug test. Though THC is likely to go out of urine within a span of 14 days, since you are an occasional smoker, I would suggest that you wait for a month. If you are a frequent smoker, it is imperative that you wait for 90 days for THC to go out of your urine.

THC stays in system for long since it is not water soluble. In your case, since you have been frequently smoking week, chances are that you might have augmented weed in your fat cells. So be away from it for 3-4 months completely to pass the drug test naturally if it is urine test

I smoked a clear joint the size of a decent blunt, a joint, and two bubbler packs of about .7 each on Saturday, last time being around 2:30 pm. I smoke fairly regularly, brush my teeth regularly and eat regularly. I was mouth swab tested Monday morning at around 10 am. During the test, I was mandated to rub the inside of my cheek, of which I did two or three strokes. Then I was told to let it sit in the inside of my gum, but I bit down on it instead and breathed deeply to let air get to the swab. After about two minutes I took it out, getting minimal saliva on it. The results come back tomorrow morning, should I be nervous?

In your case, if you had not taken an detox, chances are that it might get detected. Detox will generally work on saliva rug tests. You could have taken one.

EDIT::: Hey, i am on probation, have been for about 7 months, i have taken two drug tests and passed..now im going in for my 3rd on the 28th of Oct. i was clean for about 50 days and then decided to smoke. i smoked once on the 7th of Sep. then waited til the 14th and smoked again, aslo on the 15th and 16th and 18th and 19th, then waited until the 23rd. i have not smoked since the 23rd of Sep. like i said my drug test is Oct. 28th. that will have given me 35 days of not smoking. I am 20 years old 5 foot 10 and about 140 lbs. fast metabolism. I gave myself about the same amount of time for my past tests (35 days) and passed. I know that i shouldnt be worried, but i am. I would just like to hear what some other people have to say. Think ill be good?

I took a drug test forgetting that i use to smoke pot. It had been 28 days without smoking. The last couple of days before the test i drank a lot of water, all day. I’m planning on getting clean to pass a drug test for a job, i was smoking about a doob to a dime every other day up until about 13 days ago. I weigh around 230, my metabolism is id say average to slow, i dont work out but i do walk about half a mile every day. I smoked a bowl today though and im wondering if it will make the 13 days i went without smoking a waste or if since i hadn’t smoked in a while if it will just make it take a little longer until im totally clean instead of a whole extra month or so.

Can anyone help me?? I dont really wanna do a detox product as i dont really have money to spare.

If you don’t want to use any detox product, since you have been smoking every other way, abstention for a long time can help. try to be away from drugs at least for 3 -4 months. that would help you pass the test with ease

I had 3 hits of weed Saturday night, I have an interview this Friday. It was my first time, I’m about 145lbs, and 6′3″. I drink about 6-8 glasses a day (even before I smoked) and I have a fast metabolism (I’m really skinny and I eat a LOT). I was also drunk when high if that means anything. I only smoke a few times every year. I had a few one hitters one day and then was random drug tested 2 1/2 days later. I immediatley went home and did a at home drug test and it says I was negative. I was a cronic smoker for 5 years, the last 6 months I have been drug free but about a week ago I took two hits of some regs, then a couple days later, one hit of chronic and then I finsihed a blow of regs to myself over a 3 day period. Its been about 3 days since ive smoked and a job offer came up and now Im stressing about passing a test. Last I smoked on a 2-3 times a week basis was august 30th, didnt smoke again until last saterday october 31st thats about 9 weeks and on saterday took 3 hits of a bowl of pretty good nuggz… got offered a job and had to take a drug test by this morning drank a good amount of water last night nothing crazy and tested myself with a home test and came up negative with first check drug test drank a ready clean this morning 2.5 hrs before the test and wow that thing made me pee out my butt! Hi:),
I am about 140lbs and 5′3″ and a regular smoker for past few years and now stopping because I am going for a job the test will either be the end of the month of December or in possibly January. Job starts in February. Can I pass a test within this time frame since it was mentioned marijuana can stay in the system up to 90 days when it’s been smoked regularly. You say lots of water, exercise and a veggie diet..is that with and without the kit, yes?..or primarily with the kit?

i smoked sum chronic on december 18th, split it with a friend before seeing avatar, i then smoked sum regular mids on christmas which was 7 days later before that i havent smoked in months… i passed drug tests before within 10 days naturally because i workout 4 times a week and have a very fast metabolism, i am wondering if the weed will be out of my system in 14 days which is january 8th.. if i get a job interview with the company im pursuing i could have a drug test sumtime after the 8th but most likely will be the 15th or later which in my own opinion ill be clean.
should i worry? and was the smoking on the 18th then the 25th considered habitual because it was a week by week or just single at two different times?

I am 150 pounds, 5;9.
I smoked once tuesday night,
3 times wednesday,
3 times thursday,
once saturday night,
once sunday.

I have the possibility of getting tested next monday. (7 days).
I’ve failed school drug tests twice before. Third time is possible explusion. If anyone has reliable techniques that have worked for them or a close friend, let me know. no drinking water or bullshit like that. thanks!

ps- I was thinking of getting some clean pee, putting it in a few visine bottles, and tapping handwarmer round the ends and in the middle. I do not get patted down, and there is not a valid check of tempurate, the principal holds it to make sure it’s warm. then it’s packaged and sits around all day until they finish that days testing. I am monitored by the school, coming back from winter break is a pretty standard time to test someone. Plus, I got caught in October my second time.

Daily smoker for last 3-4 years. About an 1/8 every two weeks. Stopped for a week, but smoked for 3 days. Been clean for 10 days. Potential urine test coming up in two weeks. 6 foot 2, 185 pounds, quick metabolism and work out 3-5 days a week (6 days a week in summer). Hope to pass it’s for a job. Hi. I had been a chronic pot smoker for about 4 years. Everyday 4-5 times daily. Since the beginning of November I had probably done it about 10 times, trying to cut back because it was ruining my life and relationships. I found out I was pregnant about 2 weeks ago, and quit completely. I was interviewed for a job today that requires pre-employment urine drug testing. I am afraid that it is going to take the 3 months like ive read in the previous posts, and I dont have that much time but I also dont know how safe detox can be when you are pregnant. please help, i am in desperate need of this job for the insurance. I weigh 155lbs, and I am 5′8″ tall. My metabolism is average i guess.

I have a drug test Monday (urine). I will have refrained from smoking weed for 35 days by the time of the test. I am 5′11, 185. I have worked out (sometimes strenuously) for about 23 of those 35 days. Is there any chance I could fail? I was a medium to heavy user before I quite. (about five times a week for three months).

Been smoking weed and cannabis since I was 15 am now 38. Took a break about 2 years ago. For the last year and a half have been smoking between 5 & 12 joints of skunk mixed with tobacco a day. I last smoked about a week ago. I am 5 10 tall and weigh about 170lb, metabolism is pretty good I guess (I crap a couple of times a day and pee frequently in case it helps for you to know this) and I drink at least a litre or so of liquids a day. What is the longest that it could take until I am clear of both tobacco & thc…and which sample test would you suggest I use to “precheck the checkers”

My boyfriend applied for a new job a few days ago that requires drug testing. He has very very little body fat, a very high metabolism, drinks lots of water, and works out at least twice a day. We also smoke 2-4 small bowls a day. How long do you think it will take him to get clean? We had this same issue last year and it only took him a week.
